The school celebrates special events like Chinese New Year, National Day, Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day and Racial Harmony during regular school hours. It has become an integral part of our school life.
Celebrations spark joy and joy facilitates learning. An important day is remembered by a child only when he or she understands the significance of the occasion. Prior to the celebration, we engage our children in a variety of activities to familiarise them with our country’s culture and traditions. This will bring them closer to our cultural practices and help them build an overall attitude of gratitude and enjoying what we have. They learn early in life that happiness and pride are great feelings to acknowledge, feel and celebrate during the events.
